Drone travel in Uzbekistan should be treated as a regulated activity, not as a casual camera accessory. Import, possession, and filming may require permission, and restrictions are especially sensitive around airports, borders, government buildings, religious sites, military areas, and crowded monuments.

If aerial filming is important for a project, arrange permits before arrival through a local partner and keep documentation with the equipment. For leisure travelers, the safest approach is usually to leave the drone at home unless the permissions are already clear.
